| - hey guys, this is ellen. geeez, its been a long time.
the first thing i need to relate to you is pretty depressing, so sit tight....i cannot come to the reunion...gosh, it makes me sick when i think about it. BUT the reunion just so happens to be the same 2 days as my school's fall play. alas....i miss you guys. and i think to myself, 'ok so when WILL i see them again?" But, i'll just have to leave that in God's hands.
maybe something dramatic will happen and i'll be able to go.
Well, other than that, my life has been pretty cool lately. Sometimes things seem to move slowly, but God has given me some wonderful opportunities to encourage people at my school, especially through this senior girls gathering on tuesday nights. its sort of a biblestudy/encouragement time. IT has been AWESOME to see how God has used the time we spend there...I'd appreciate your prayers for the group. (:
God has also allowed me to be given the honor of being nominated as one of the senior homecoming court! it is such an honor to be placed with the girls that were voted in. I go to a Christian school and the girls on the court exemplify such a sweet Christlike love for everyone...i feel a little blown away. i'd really love your prayer because i am giving a speech (about 5 min.) in front of my school this thursday.im excited for the opportunity. im not really nervous about giving it, but i need to figure out what to say in it that will best encourage my school and to show them my heart.
